My husband bought me a mandolin....
Yeah...just like that. We went to a local music store to inquire about getting his daughter's keyboard repaired and I began looking at ukeleles. He told me he thought it would be nice if I learned to play an instrument. He does not really like ukeleles and felt maybe I should learn something more substantial.
There was a Rover RM 25 for a good price and he talked about getting it for me...so we asked about lessons and he bought it...
Just like that...
My husband amazes me....and I love him. And so soon with practice, I will be able to perhaps one day be as good as the mandolin player for R.E.M., (wishful thinking obviously).....
