From a medical point-of-view this is could be a fantastic break through. The story doesn't talk about the amount of brain/cell damage in the dogs, but this puts a whole other spin on our definition of death.
From a spiritual point-of-view this could be the beginning of the end for superstitions about the "other side."

So I will mention the basic tenant of how I feel about such testing on animals...and that would be - you guessed it...
How dare we!?!?!?!
We don't (in my book) have a right to do this shit - I don't care whether some 'God' gave us 'dominion' over animals or not - it's wrong - totally wrong.
Yep and let's just see them try this shit on humans - do you have any idea how much outcry there'd be - but no we are merely content with torturing nature's *other* living creatures....
Sometimes I think we deserve to have this planet blow up in our faces....
je viens de lire l'article. they are trying to develop the technology of reviving the clinically dead. its not unknown that either/or parts of the whole (organism) may continue to live long after its declared dead.
