SAY WHAT? HUH? COME AGAIN?
Have Coffee Will Write: SAY WHAT? HUH? COME AGAIN?
Via Mr. Hess....
Really scary stuff - again I will need to talk to my son - who does nothing in the way of protecting his hearing during his band practices, and walks around all the time with headphones on - and I've let him know - if *I* can hear the music coming through your headphones IT'S TOO LOUD!!! To no avail - I suppose he's just destined to do permanent damage to his hearing - which yes in the end is his issue/problem - but speaking from personal experience (I've lost parts of my vision because I was walking around with Glaucoma and didn't know it) - it's a *real* loss (I've shed many tears over my lost vision) - something that, once the damage has been done is gone forever...
Perhaps it's that they have no concept of forever in terms of life-span and losing something for the 'rest of your life' just does not sink in?
