I love this! The strangest thing happened many years ago. After leaving a church, where I had been a devoted member and student, I went to sleep one night saying to the sky outside my window towering powerfully above the elms and evergreens that I was used to having a name to call on in contemplative times and meditations.
I had a "disembodied voice dream (term I learned from Clarissa Pinkola Estes' works). I think it was the first time ever.
The disembodied dream voice just simply, but clearly, said: "The Name is Morningstar."
I spent some time researching "morning star." I've written about it in my journals for years. Perhaps I'll get some of them out because it was the birth of the understanding of the power of the stars.
I'm not referring here to astrology, although that has it's own relevance but I've never studied it and rarely utilize it, but about an understanding regarding the power of the universerse and our place in it.
Recently, I've come upon another sort of initiatory period that involves chaos. So, at first read, I just want to thank you for reiterating the idea.
I'll probably write some sort of something about this on my blog and link to yours, if you don't mind.
