Pretty intense Japanese 'water-colour' video - thanks for posting Jeff!

Recently our friend, Ken, bought a calendar for his mom with paintings that look a lot like these...some of these characters even remind me of him. I've done a bit of watercolor, even taken some classes, and though many watercolor paintings look simple, accomplishing the end result is not. It takes real talent and skill. I'm challenged to get out my paint and brushes and paper and try again!! :))

In all the tributes to John Lennon this past week, his artwork surfaced again. He had this kind of talent...to draw a simple figure and create a very accurate portrayal of a person. I am so envious, but again, challenged!

This is a great reminder for me to once again...remember to keep it simple! :))
