About Me
- Name: Colette
- Location: East of Cleveland by Lake Erie, Ohio, United States
I am a rebel. I am intelligent, creative, sexy, compassionate, funny, sarcastic, loving, romantic, spontaneous, moody at times, confused, confusing, a bit geeky, helpful and helpless at times, a good cook, a good listener, a good friend. I do not suffer fools gladly. I love good literature, good music, good cinema, good wine and good company with whom I can share all of those wonders. I am not your grandmamas Colette. ^_^

i like this picture. i am generally amazed with animals. of how at some level we are all related. i cant believe you were that close (taking the picture). must be an illusion?
my brother underwent some acupuncture when we were kids. right after the procedure, he says he didnt feel a thing except for ant bites on his leg (where the acupuncture was done). do elephants have more tolerance to pain?
Cheri -
you are so cute...
The picture went with the article - where are the blog police (glances around nervously)....
I was amazed that they used that type of treatment on an elephant (I mean why not - but still) - their skin is really tough so I am wondering if they had to use special needles for the procedure - but it's proof that this type of medicine is valid - if only Westerners would believe that...
