This man is amazing.
The reason why I am also posting this is because of a talk I heard yesterday by a doctor who climbs summits all over the world.
I am fascinated by these endeavors and by the people who undertake the arduous task of climbing mountains - Erik is the only blind man in history to reach the summit of the world's highest peak - Mount Everest
If this is not inspiration to overcome my own seemingly meager problems, I don't know what is...

Dear Colette,
Thanks for a great post. You are right - Erik is an amazing man, and an inspiration to so many people. His humble approach to monumental accomplishments is inspiring to say the least!
But, as you know, we all have our Everests in life - some choose the physical mountains to climb, some the metaphorical ones. Know that your Everests are important and difficult, and that you, too, will climb to your summits.
If you have a moment, stop by

All the best,
Jake Norton
